Roar

This picture was actually taken today, while I was at the zoo. I actually did some sponge technique to it on photoshop too, and I think it looks kind of cool.
What an adventure I had today! To everyone's surprise, the zoo was actually jammin' today. Those people were all smart too, because all of them had umbrellas. The time when I bring and umbrella it never rains, and when I decide that the weather looks good then it rains.
The zoo was a blast. I hadn't been there in ages! Once we entered the zoo we walked around for about an hour, and then it started pouring. Ignoring the weather channel, none of us had brought an umbrella. At the time that it started pouring, we were standing by the seals waiting for a zoo employee to feed them. Us and another group stayed to watch. The show ended up not being all that exciting, and ray's sister wanted to go to see the bats. Our next stop did not end up anywhere near the bats, and it wasn't for at least another two hours before we saw them. We visited the rainforest, the Australian outback, and our most favorite stop, DQ. By the time we had arrived at the rainforest, we had just gone in to get shelter from the rain, since there was just mist in this forest. Later, we visited the aquarium-which is actually really nice now - and the bats. Oh, and along the way we had to feed the catfish, ducks, and the goats. I think the worst part of the whole thing was the five of us squeezed in ray's car, and we all smelled of wet dog from the three doses of rain poured on us. The whole thing was such an adventure. We were all collaborating on the essays we have to write, but unfortunately there wasn't a light bulb that went on during the discussion. So I still have no idea how my essay is going to turn out. So tomorrow is a full fledged work day.

Take A Picture

During the week, in photography class, we have been expierimenting with pin hole cameras. Although I am anxious to start taking pictures with the 35mm, I am really enjoying the pin hole cameras. I took two outside pictures, and they pretty much look awful. The shutter was left open to long though I think. I do have a pretty good idea of what I will be taking for an inside picture. Hopefully this time the picture will turn out well. And I just cannot wait to start taking real pictures and actually learning how to develop film. I am so used to these digital cameras. Although I like being able to put photos on the computer, and messing with them on photoshop. I love doing that. During one of the art fairs that I went to, I talked to one of the photographers there, and I learned a few new photoshop tricks from the photographer. Art and craft fair things are so awesome. Wow, I went from photography to art fairs. lol!

Hello!

This is my puppy, Molly. She just happens to be wearing a beret. I thought I would stick this picture on my blog, since I haven't been on in awhile.
Monday is going to be tough, I can just feel it. It's going to be the first Monday of school. Last week wasn't bad, but a full week of school is going to be crazy. I am actually enjoying school....so far. I am so excited to be able to take photography class here, since some places don't even offer such a cool class. I think this year, Photography and AP English are my favorite classes. I actually like my whole schedule though, but I have always loved English and the Art type classes. I enjoyed reading the AP books during the summer as well. I think Sense and Sensibility was my favorite, because it always had me guessing. S&S was also pretty funny and that always helps. And now that I look at all the notes that I have taken, I can't help but wonder if I took to many notes. Ok I know I took to many notes, but I know I won't forget any details.
My friend is a huge fan of the British. So when she said she hadn't heard many Beatles songs, I was there to make her listen to them. lol! In return she gave me a few Keane, and James Blunt songs. I had never heard of Keane before but the band is pretty good. And I think most people know of James Blunt.
I have to get going, since I still have some History work to get done. Toodles!
